1977年4月生,博士,研究员,主要从事小麦品质、抗病研究及新品种选育。主持国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金、江苏省自主创新资金等项目12项,参与国家重点研发计划专项、江苏省重点研发计划、江苏省现代种业振兴“揭榜挂帅”项目等项目10余项,以第一作者或通讯作者在LWT、the Crop Journal、Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture、Phytopathology、Journal of Cereal Science、Frontiers in Plant Science、中国农业科学、作物学报等期刊发表论文50余篇,以第一完成人授权国家发明专利5项、选育新品种3个,参与制定国家标准和行业标准各1项,获江苏省农业丰收二等奖1项。2012年8月~2013年8月、2016年9月~2017年9月、2019年3月分别赴美国德州农工大学、美国堪萨斯州立大学和国际小麦玉米改良中心开展小麦品质遗传改良及赤霉病抗性育种研究。
